Snow College
is the place to be!
West Jordan City girl placed in Ephraim with five strangers sharing one kitchen, spying on every boy that walks pass, and causing trouble with every step. But what do you expect? There is a Walmart, a bowling alley, and two movie theaters. We have to something for fun.
Ephraim has been great! I have met a lot of different people and slowly their names are sticking. The campus is small enough and I live close enough that I've been walking a lot and it lets you meet a lot of new people. Meeting new people is an interesting thing and it contains the same three questions: What's your name? Where are you from? Are you a freshman or Sophomore?
Classes are nothing like expected yet they are. I like to think I have a pretty good schedule because I have time to do my homework in between my classes which leaves me with a small amount of homework to do once home ( at least for now.) For one of my classes I am spending 20 hours in an elementary school helping out a teacher and I am thrilled! For another I will be having to do a lot of group papers and presentations so I will be grinning and bearing it. I do recommend taking a work-out class because it is a great stress reliever and it keeps you in shape.
I have the strangest roommates: Korryn, Kambree, Karlie, Kalisha, and Jordyn. They are five crazy girls with unique quirks that make our apartment awesome. We have decorated our living room with paint strips in a long line and then some firework/star/flower shapes through the other walls to carry on the color. PLUS we have a hammock on our patio. The six of us are pretty chill; we can sit in a room or in a crowd of people and be content just sitting in silence. I think we'll get along fine.
There is still a lot to experience and a lot to learn but like Seth Godin says, "If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try."
